Flower School Creations
Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 9:48AM
Last Thursday evening we hosted our first flower school. The goal for the evening was to create a natural style arrangement incorporating the best of the season. After a brief tutorial and demonstration and armed with glasses of prosecco, everyone set to work.

Using ivy tree and nandina to form the basic structure, we then added in garden roses, spray roses, parrot tulips and the last of the season dahlias. The arrangements were filled out with feathery agonis leaves and queen anne's lace. Rosehips, bittersweet and pomegranates were then added for the final flourish.

As you can see, the finished pieces were all works of art and each uniquely individual.

Thank you to Naomi for being our resident photographer for the evening and capturing these beauties. If you missed being a part of this class and would like to know about future classes, join our email list to be receive notifications of upcoming events.
